Making:
Square patty pork burgers with roasted potatoes
1 serving prepared
Here's what I have:
4.6 oz Ground pork
*Brown sugar bourbon season
1/2 cup Yukon gold potatoes
1/4 cup Extra sharp cheddar cheese
3 Button mushrooms chopped
*1/2 tsp Butter
*Sweet onion sea salt
Homemade Pickles
Preparation:
To make the patties I mixed the pork and seasoning. Next split the meat in half then used a metal mold to make the patties square. These were mixed a few hours before dinner and then put in the fridge.
After preheating the oven to 375 the potatoes were tossed in a bit of olive oil with a pinch of salt and pepper. These were roasted for 20 mins.
For the topping the button mushrooms were sautéed in butter and seasoned with the sweet onion salt. When the potatoes were 10 mins away from being done the burgers cooked for 3 mins per side. After they were done cheese was added and the lid placed on the pan until the cheese melted.
The plate!
The only thing missing was ketchup and bigger patties. Next time I try this I will be doing a pork beef mix and making the patties thicker.
