Reviewing: Mojo pork tacos with creamy cilantro slaw 2 servings prepared  Here's what you get: Lime Orange Cilantro Ground pork Cumin Chicken stock concentrate Dried oregano Garlic powder Coleslaw mix Mayonnaise Sour cream Flour tortilla (not used) Substitutes: Lime corn chips The Cilantro slaw: To make the slaw the mayonnaise, cilantro, sour cream, garlic powder and lime juice were added and tossed together. This was then salted and peppered to taste The protein: Half of the lime and all of the orange were juiced before cooking.  The orange and lime juice were added to the cumin, stock concentrate, 1/2 tsp sugar, oregano and half the garlic powder.  In a non-stick pan the pork was added and cooked until browned. The mojo sauce was then poured over this and cooked until the juices were reduced. Reviewing: Chicken cutlets with a spiced Walnut crust plus green bean potato wedges & creamy mustard sauce 2 servings prepared  Here's what you get: Walnut Yukon Gold potatoes  Smoky cinnamon paprika spice blend Panko bread crumb  Whole grain mustard  Mayonnaise  Sour cream  Chicken cutlet  Green bean  Substitute: Gluten-free breadcrumb The potatoes: The oven was preheated to 425. The potatoes were coated in a small drizzle of oil and half of the cinnamon paprika spice. salt and pepper. These were placed on a baking sheet and placed in the oven. The overall timer was set for 30 minutes but after 10 minutes the chicken will go into the oven on the same pan. The sauce: To make the sauce the mustard, mayonnaise, sour cream we're combined with a bit of salt and pepper. Reviewing: BBQ pulled chicken tacos with creamy slaw and red onion 1 serving prepared  Here's what you get: Red Onion  Lime  Pulled chicken in BBQ sauce  Cilantro  Mayonnaise  Hot sauce  Coleslaw  Not used: Flour tortilla  Substitute: Corn tortilla The corn tortilla: The tortillas were placed in a small convection oven on warm while the rest of the items were being cooked so they were warm by the time the meal what's ready to plate. The coleslaw: To make the coleslaw the veggie mix was combined with cilantro and onion and then tossed with mayonnaise, hot sauce and juice from half of the lime. Salt and pepper were then added to taste. The bowl was set aside while the meat was being prepared. The protein: To finish off the protein a drizzle of oil is heated up in a non-stick pan and the remaining onion was added along with salt and pepper. Reviewing: Firecracker meatballs with roasted green bean & sesame rice  2 servings prepared  Here's what you get: Scallion  Ginger  Mayonnaise  Sour cream  Honey  Sriracha  Korean chili flakes  Sesame seed  Ground beef  Jasmine rice  Green beans  Not used: Panko bread crumb  Soy sauce  Substitutes: gluten-free bread crumb  tamari sauce The rice: This was prepared first I only cooked 1 quarter cup with 1/2 cup rice for 15 minutes and then continued preparation per the recipe. The protein: These are easy to put together just combine the breadcrumb, ginger, scallion, tamari sauce, salt and pepper. Then form into meatballs, these will be cooked in the oven along with the green beans. The greenbeans: To prep the green bean I added avocado oil, salt, pepper and some of the Korean chili flakes. The beans and meatballs went on a sheet together and were baked in the oven at 425 for 15 minutes. The ...

Reviewing: Monterey Jack burger on a potato cake with sugar snap peas. 1 sering prepared - recipe heavily modified  Here's what you get: Balsamic vinegar   Monterey Jack cheese  Ketchup  Yellow onion  Mayonnaise  5 oz Ground beef  Sugar snap peas Steak spice  Not pictured/used:   Garlic  Zucchini  Dried oregano  Potato buns  Panko bread crumbs The protein: I started by mixing the burger with a teaspoon of mayo and the steak spice and then set it aside. After the onions were finished I cooked the burger for five minutes per side and then put the cheese on and let it melt per instructions. The peas: Zucchini that was sent was unusable so I substituted sugar snap peas. These were  cooked in a small pot. The sauce: This was quick to make and doing this before cooking the burger was easier as far as cleanup too. Extras: I made a potato cake for the burger to sit on.  The plate: I don't...

Reviewing: Gouda pork burgers with caramelized Sriracha onion and potato wedges 1 double burger with sides prepared  Here's what you get: Yellow onion Garlic Yukon Gold potato Sriracha, gouda cheese Sour cream Lime Potato buns (not pictured/used) Smoked paprika Ground pork Mayonnaise The potato: These were cut early in the day and left to soak in water and a bit of baking soda at room temperature. Roasting instructions; 450 degrees for 20-25 mins.  The protein: I'm doing a double paddy today so the entire 10 oz of pork was used. During the patty prep I added some sirracha. The burgers were set aside to rest while I prepared the rest of the components. When ready the patties were cooked for 6 minds each side before adding the cheese and coveringfor 3 minutes. The sauce and onion: There's a suggestion on the card to add a pinch of baking soda to the onions while cooking so I tried this out. There must be a sweet spot for this because my onions went...

Reviewing: Pork schnitzel with roasted veggies & a creamy mustard Dipper 1 serving prepared  Here's what you get: Carrots  Limoneira pink lemon  Honey  Fry seasoning  Garlic powder  Pork cutlets  Yukon Gold potato  Mayonnaise  Dijon mustard  Panko bread crumbs (not pictured, not used) Sour cream  Parmesan (substitution) The protein: To omit gluten I mixed the garlic powder with parmesan for the coating. Instead of pan frying I added the pork to the veggie pan during the last 13 mins of cooking. Everything was broiled for 3 mins to brown up the parm coating. The veggies: I tossed all the veggies in oil and coated with the fry seasoning. These were roasted at 425 for 25 mins total.  The sauce: This was easy as usual.  Mix the mayo, honey and mustard then set to the side.  Extras: The lemon, why? I don't know.  It's a good lemon though, I used it to make a glass of lemonade saving one wedge for...

Reviewing:  Sweet & Smoky pork tenderloin with apple carrot slaw mashed potatoes & Cherry sauce 1 serving prepared  Here's what you get: Scallions (not pictured) White wine vinegar  Yukon Gold potatoes  Smoky cinnamon paprika spice  Cherry Jam  Mayonnaise  Shredded carrots  Pork tenderloin  Hudson River Fruit Snapdragon Apple  Sour cream The slaw: Since you don't have to shred the carrots yourself this is relatively easy, you just have the wet components to combine with the carrots.  The Apple comes in later in the process. Likely so it won't oxidize but I sliced mine early and set aside the larger chunks in some lime water. They kept just fine while I finished the rest of the process and were added last. The protein: This was straightforward, you just salt, pepper, add spice to the pork loin and pop it in the oven. The flavor came out very nice. The potatoes: While the pork was cooking I got the potatoes going...
